Aerial photography
Aerial Photography is the process of taking photographs from a platform flying above the surface of the earth, from satellites in orbit down to aircraft, helicopters, balloons, and drones. In GIS and remote sensing, this can furnish spatial data details such as structures, geographic features such as waterways, elevations, vegetation, and so forth. All these are important for a proper understanding of landscape, property, land use, etc. High-resolution aerial photography is necessary for proper Geo-spatial analysis. In GIS, it provides the base data for Photogrammetry (mapping from aerial photographs). This technique is utilized by cartographers, geographers, planners, environment specialists, military, and others who need to understand the lay of the land. Telegenisys GIS analysts have many years of experience in the interpretation of aerial photography and its use for the extraction of spatial and other data.
